Like I mentioned before, Chris spent a long weekend up in Wisconsin recently fishing with friends.  Don't be too distracted by his awesome shades...

Soccer Games

Chris plays soccer on Sunday afternoons and Levi enjoys going to the games. He watches the players on the field for awhile, but there are plenty of distractions between the grass and people on the sidelines!

Hard at work

Last week Chris and I made a list of things that need to be done around the house. The list is now two pages long. This weekend we took care of some of the items on the list - specifically tasks in the kitchen. When I got out of the shower on Sunday morning, this is what I saw when I walked into the kitchen. Apparently Levi was helping Chris replace the kitchen faucet.
We're trying to do some minor fix-ups around the house; we're hoping to put the house on the market in the spring. So if you know of someone looking for a house in the bluffs - let us know! This weekend we replaced the cabinet hardware (pictured), put in a new faucet (not pictured), re-caulked the sink and backsplash, and touched up paint in the kitchen. We also reorganized the cabinets and drawers and took a load to Goodwill. Busy weekend!

Chris is 30!!

Friday was Chris' 30th birthday. He's been claiming to be an old man for awhile, but now it's official. We celebrated with friends and family with pizza at our house and then bowling at Regal Lanes, where we had our rehearsal dinner. Chris wanted an ice cream cake, so I made my first one. It turned out pretty good, and I was excited about using some of my new cake decorating tools.
