We had our 20 week ultrasound today (although I'm 21 weeks). Grandma Cece and Grandpa Denny came to enjoy the festivities, even though they were forewarned we weren't finding out the sex :) Pictures are below, I think the top right and the bottom left (the same pictures) look like Levi! It's amazing how developed the baby is and it is only measuring 14 oz.
We had a slight scare during the ultrasound, the baby's heartbeat slowed way down and the ultrasound tech had me move to my side and that cured the problem, the heart rate went back up to around 140. She said things like that happen often when they are little, but you don't always *get* to see it. Although she reassured us, and the doctor did the same, we have to go back again next week to make sure things are ok. But the baby is measuring on track, so that's another reason they aren't too concerned. In the meantime between now and our appointment next week I have to do kick counts (just like it sounds, have to count 10 kicks in a two hour time period) twice a day. Normally it's recommended that pregnant women do this only once per day. We'll keep you updated on Baby Vokt v.2's progress next week!
